Process Details

Manager completes the Termination request form and attaches the supporting documentation. If the Termination is Involuntary, it is sent to the Employee Relations Officer for approval. If the Termination is Voluntary, it is sent to the Employee Services Manager/Analyst for approval then, communicates the termination of the employee and updates the form.

 

Employee Relations Officer receives the Involuntary Termination request to approve or deny from the Manager. If the request is approved, the Employees termination is communicated and the form is updated. Then the request is sent to the Employee Services Manager/Analyst. If the request is denied, a reason is added and sent back to the Manager.

 

Employee Services Manager/Analyst receives the Voluntary Termination request to approve from the Manager and the Approved Involuntary Termination from the Employee Relation Officer. Once approved, the employee record is updated and the Terminated Employees Report is scheduled to run.

 

JIS Security Admin/MDEC Help Desk receives the Terminated Employee Report from the Employee Services Manager/ Analyst and updates the employee company property information.

 

Department of General Services receives the Terminated Employee Report from the Employee Services Manager/ Analyst.

Intermediate – full understanding of their individual role functions within a process and is proficient enough to operate effectively under minimal assistance. Has understanding of previous process tasks performed and the impact downstream.

Comprehensive – full understanding of process, related roles, activities and tasks performed to complete the process. Comprehensive ability of role functions within the process with no assistance. Ability to perform other tasks related to other roles within the process.
